It appears as if Raising Cane’s will bring a restaurant to Deer Park, possibly by the end of 2022. According to state licensing information, the latest Raising Cane’s will be located at 8055 Spencer Hwy., Deer Park, TX 77536. The nearly 3,200-square-foot restaurant will include a drive-thru.

Raising Cane’s is well-known for its limited menu of chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and Cane’s Sauce. Fresh lemonade and sweet tea are also staples on the menu.

The chain restaurant’s “commitment to this concept will not allow us to compromise our quality, cut corners or clutter our menu with new products that do not fit our core menu offering,” according to the Raising Cane’s website.

Raising Cane’s began as a college dream for founder Todd Graves. Graves worked as a boilermaker in California and as an off-shore fisherman in Alaska to raise funding for his business plan. Graves returned to Louisiana where he opened the first Raising Cane’s restaurant, named after his yellow lab, in Baton Rouge back in 1996.

Raising Cane’s has dozens of locations across Texas and continues to add restaurants in the Lone Star State.
