Shipley Do-Nuts is expanding its footprint in Cut and Shoot, with a new location confirmed for 14420 TX-105, Conroe, TX 77306. Franchisee Abe Carter, who operates an impressive 39 restaurants, including a newly opened location in Grangerland, is behind the latest addition.
The project, estimated at a cost of $250,000, involves a 2,019-square-foot interior remodel of the space to create a fresh, welcoming environment for donut lovers. Renovation plans include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, with work scheduled to begin in January 2025. The renovation reflects Shipley Do-Nuts’ ongoing commitment to offering a top-tier customer experience.
For Carter, the expansion has personal significance. “I grew up eating Shipley’s in College Station and always loved their product and business model,” he shared. “We just opened our first Shipley’s in Grangerland on Tuesday.”
With its rich history and famous donuts, Shipley Do-Nuts is a Texas staple that continues to win the hearts of locals. The Cut and Shoot location is poised to become another community favorite, offering the brand’s signature fresh, warm donuts and kolaches. Fans in the area can look forward to enjoying these classic treats when the shop opens its doors this spring.
According to Carter, the Cut and Shoot location is on track to open in April 2025.
