Taco Bell heads to Bay City with a brand-new location planned for 3804 7th St. The project is being led by B&G Food Enterprises, one of Taco Bell’s largest franchise operators in the country.
According to permit filings, the new restaurant will be a ground-up construction project with an estimated cost of $1.2 million. The plans call for a 2,089-square-foot building that will provide a fresh and convenient option for quick-service dining in the area.
Gregory Hamer, Jr., Executive Vice President of Admin at B&G Food Enterprises, confirmed the project and shared insight into why Bay City was chosen for this latest development. “We feel the location is a convenient spot for patrons to access,” said Hamer. “We are excited for the opportunity to bring Taco Bell back to Bay City.”
The Bay City location is part of B&G Food Enterprises’ continued growth strategy. The company will operate a total of 211 Taco Bell locations spanning Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. More information about B&G Food Enterprises and its portfolio can be found at bgfood.com.
If construction proceeds as scheduled, B&G anticipates opening the new Taco Bell in October 2025.
