Teriyaki Madness is set to open three new units throughout the Houston area over the next three years. Max and Linda Richey are the chain’s newest franchisees who will bring Teriyaki Madness’s high-quality teriyaki bowls to northwest Houston.
The husband-and-wife duo were sold on Teriyaki Madness’s concept the first time they tried it. “We are in the northwestern part of Houston, namely Cypress, and there is nothing like Teriyaki Madness here,” Max said in a press release. “We’ve lived here for a long time and we recognized an unmet demand for this kind of cuisine.”
He adds, “Teriyaki Madness offers made-to-order fresh ingredients, with a small menu focused on the most popular items. Also, my research showed me immediately that Teriyaki madness was becoming very well-recognized as one of the fastest-growing chains in the booming Asian cuisine category. That really excited me.”
The Richeys intend to open three locations throughout greater Houston by 2025. In a text exchange with What Now Houston this week, Linda confirmed that as of this publication, they haven’t yet secured a spot for their first store but are due to finalize the lease in the coming weeks.
Teriyaki Madness is a fast-casual concept serving made-to-order bowls, apps and sides, prepared with fresh ingredients and served quickly at a reasonable price. Since its founding in 2003, the brand has grown into more than 100 stores nationwide.
