Mediterranean food fans in Missouri City will soon have a fresh option for lunch and dinner. The Kebab Shop, a growing fast-casual chain known for its customizable plates, wraps, and doner kebabs, is setting up shop at 6215 Hwy 6, Suite 300. The space is being renovated inside an existing shell building with a project cost estimated at $150,000, according to city permit records.
The 2,200-square-foot buildout will feature a full interior finish, likely including a streamlined prep line and modern seating for dine-in guests, though no final design details have been released yet. The Kebab Shop typically focuses on efficient layouts, clear-cut ordering, and a menu that balances traditional flavors with American preferences. Their standard fare includes flame-grilled meats, saffron rice, fresh salads, and sauces like garlic yogurt and spicy chili.
The California-based brand has been slowly expanding across Texas in recent years, gaining a loyal following for its fast service and consistent quality. This new Missouri City location marks another step in their Gulf Coast growth. It’s also well-placed along a busy stretch of Highway 6, making it a convenient option for nearby residents and commuters.
Construction is expected to begin in October 2025 with a target completion date set for December 2025.
