A new boba tea house, named Ting Tea, is heading to 7073 Hwy 6 N thanks to Owner Jason Yu. It will feature a wide variety of boba teas, iced coffee, milk tea options, and desserts, giving northwest Houston another casual go-to for sweet drinks and snacks.

The project, filed under a $100,000 construction permit, involves remodeling an existing 1,200-square-foot space to house the new tea shop. According to permit filings, the work is categorized as new construction and includes a full interior buildout to create a brand-new tea house.

Yu told What Now Houston that Ting Tea will serve as a fresh concept that blends familiar drinks with dessert offerings in a modern, welcoming environment. The goal is to create a space that stands out from other chains by offering unique flavor combinations and a relaxed vibe for tea lovers of all ages.

Construction is expected to begin on July 15, 2025 per the permit, and Yu is wanting to open doors by August or September 2025.
