Texans will soon get a taste of a Utah-based soda shop that is opening its first Lone Star State location in Cypress. Quench It Soda will be located a few miles south of Cypress’ Bridgeland community at 8020 Fry Rd., Ste. 100.
Michael Leinweber and Trevor Cardon, owners of the planned Quench It Soda in Cypress, hope to open the location sometime in December. “We are excited to bring a new business concept to Houston. We want to be the Soda Kings of Houston,” Leinweber told What Now Houston.
They plan to open additional Quench It Soda spots in Magnolia, Katy, and Tomball, but there is no word on when those might open to the public. “The whole idea is to grow the brand,” Leinweber said.
Leinweber said Quench It Soda has seen a lot of success in Utah since opening in 2014. The brand offers sodas with added creams, purees, and syrups to create high-quality, handcrafted drinks.
Quench It Soda will also offer gourmet cookies from Half Baked Cookies. Other treats such as pretzels, as well as coffee and tea will also be available. “We certainly want people to come and enjoy our specialty drinks and treats every single day because Life’s Better Mixed Up!”
