Wingstop, the popular fast-casual chain known for its signature wings and bold flavors, is gearing up to bring its next location to Kingwood. A recent permit filing confirms that the upcoming spot will be located at 4529 Kingwood Dr, Suite 170—part of a growing portfolio of sites being developed by GSR Group.
According to permitting records, the project is set to be a $250,000 renovation, transforming a 1,428-square-foot space into a new Wingstop outpost. The scope of work includes a full interior build-out tailored to the brand’s operational needs, with the project classified as privately funded on private land.
GSR Group has remained active in expanding Wingstop’s presence across Greater Houston, with this latest project signaling a continued interest in high-traffic suburban hubs. The timeline on file points to a quick turnaround, so local fans shouldn’t have long to wait.
Construction is slated to begin in June 2025 with a target completion date in July 2025.
