Houston is about to get a taste of paradise. A Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade will soon be opening at 1922 Greenhouse Rd in the Forresta Village shopping center. This new location will cover 1,423 sq ft. It’s one of two locations coming to the Greater Houston Area this summer. Franchise owner Premkumarie Layeeq confirmed the news of the opening to What Now Houston recently. “We got two locations,” Layeeq said. “The one in Katy Mill should be opening up the end of July, the first of August. The other one in Houston that is on Greenhouse by I-10, that should be opening up by the end of August or first of September.”

Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade serves fresh pressed lemonade, acai bowls, superfood smoothies, coffee, tea, and salads and sandwiches. “It’s a healthy store,” Layeeq said. “We want people to come and enjoy it.”

The company started as a small business popping up in farmers markets and night markets around Oahu in 2012. They eventually grew into a brick and mortar lemonade stand in Kihei, Maui. The fresh lemonade chain now operates in eight U.S. states and has two locations in Japan. Keeping to their roots, the chain continues to do business as popups in each new city they open in.

Layeeq likewise started his own two Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade stores as a series of popups at local schools and home & garden shows. “We want people to come enjoy it because we’ve been doing a couple of popups,” he said. “We got a very good response.”
