Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta is revving up to dish out pizzas in Richmond, just outside of Houston. A lease comps report acquired by What Now Houston shows that the Dallas-based brand intends to open a new Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta in The Shops at Harlem at 8823 Harlem Road.

According to the report, the new lease for the 6,600-square-foot eatery starts in December 2025.

According to the pizza joint’s website, Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta has your cravings covered, offering fresh dough and fresh toppings until 3 am every night.

This will be the tenth Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta, which has blossomed in the Dallas-Fort Worth market since its inception in 2010. According to its website, Zio Al’s Pizza and Pasta, “started with a dream: serve quality pizza and Italian comfort food late into the night, and do it better than anyone else.”

Owner, Alex Frijat, was a pizza delivery driver before he took the wheel of his establishment, serving up from scratch home-made recipes.

What Now Houston reached out to Frijat for comment, but did not receive a response by the time of this publication.

But, it is clear that many, if not all, of the items Texans have experienced at the currently open Zio Al’s Pizza and Pastas will also be served at the new Richmond location, which includes a variety of pizzas and sizes, philly cheesesteaks, wings, and pastas.
