3Natives, a healthy restaurant chain based in Florida, is getting ready to open a new location in St. Augustine at 232 State Rte 312.

The company’s newest location will move into the Riverside Center Shopping Center later this year. Franchise owners Gary and Michelle Robertson tell What Now Jacksonville that they expect to open this site in December 2023. Michelle tells What Now they hope to open more locations once this one is up and running but are not currently searching for new leases, hoping to focus on this site first. When this location opens, customers can expect fresh acai bowls, super smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and more.

3Natives was founded in 2013 in Tequesta, FL, by Anthony Bambino in a small 900-square-foot space. He had the idea to launch this concept after traveling through Southern California and wanted to bring healthy and quick food options to South Florida. Today, the company has expanded to over 26 locations in Florida and Oklahoma. One reason why this chain has become so popular in the last decade is because of its sustainably caught tuna and its proteins, which are made from scratch and don’t contain preservatives or added sugar. No Udder Protein is an exclusive 3Natives protein that is vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.

“We use 100% organic and fair trade Sambazon acai,” according to the company’s website. “We are proud to support a company that helps over 20k local family farmers in Brazil, protects 2+ million acres of rainforest, and 5% of the Sambazon fruit costs go directly back to the Brazilian community. Therefore the more purple smiles we see, the more we are giving back to our world!”
