Anejo Cocina Mexicana continues to slowly expand its brand throughout Florida, with a new location coming to Middleburg at 1660 Jeremiah St.

The restaurant is set to move into a new development across from Pet Paradise Oakleaf and down the street from Hampton Inn & Suites Middleburg, according to a recent plan review application submitted to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. There is no exact timeline for this location, but the development appears to be under construction, so this site will likely open by the end of the year, possibly early next year. The company is also working on a site in South Orlando.

The micro chain restaurant has slowly been taking over Florida, with locations already in Daytona Beach, Winter Park, Ponte Vedra, Riverside, St. Johns, and more. Anejo Cocina Mexicana has made a name for itself through its authentic and delicious Mexican food, matched with mouth-watering cocktails and an unbeatable happy hour. Some items on the menu include carne asada tostadas, chicharron guacamole, and regional specials. In Daytona Beach, the restaurant offers a grilled dish that features succulent shrimp, flavorful rice, black beans, and sweet plantains, all complemented by a zesty salsa.

“Our restaurant offers authentic Mexican cuisine made with only the freshest ingredients, so you can indulge in the rich and spicy flavors of Mexico,” according to the company’s website. “Whether you’re searching for a Mexican restaurant near you or looking for a restaurant open now, Anejo Mexican Restaurant is the perfect choice. Our chefs use only the freshest ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and authentic.
