Plantation Crossing, a shopping mall in Middleburg, is the future home of Clay County’s next Another Broken Egg Cafe. With three locations already operating in Jacksonville, and another in Jacksonville Beach, the breakfast, lunch, and brunch chain is continuing to increase its presence in the area.
The brand has just signed the lease, Territory Manager Wes Hubbard told What Now on Thursday, and is waiting on construction to begin.
Jacksonville’s Another Broken Egg locations serve up Brunch Specialties like Shrimp ‘N Grits, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and the Mardi Gras Omelette (Filled with Louisiana crawfish, gulf shrimp, andouille and red peppers, topped with tomato hollandaise, tomatoes and green onions). The menu continues with pancake choices like Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese, French Toast, Waffles, and Omelettes & Scramblers like the Hey Lucy! Omelette with chorizo, onions and green chiles.
The brand has a lot to offer libations-wise too, including Spiked Hot Coffee drinks like the Irish coffee with Jameson and Baileys and Spiked Cold Brews like the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew with Captain Morgan. To these are added a selection of cocktails, bloodies, and mimosas.
“We’re looking forward to going into the Middleburg area,” Hubbard said. “We’re hoping to open this time next year.”
