Located at 7534 Beach Blvd, Bay 9, Bap Bowl Korean Kitchen serves up favorites from Korean cuisine—and, before too long, it’ll be serving guests at a second location.
This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Super Bang Inc. for a new Bap Bowl, opening at 10920 Baymeadows Rd. There, it would join Reedy Branch Commons Shopping Center, a retail center that is home to restaurants like Emangeo’s Brick Oven Pizza and Hiro Japanese Restaurant.
What Now confirmed the news on Friday with owner Jason Wu. Wu said an opening was still fairly far off and that the new Bap Bowl is working toward a January/February 2027 opening.
The menu at Bap Bowl features Guest Favorites like Kimchi with Pork Bulgogi, the Super Bap Bowl, and Rose Honey Wings.
What Now reported back in February 2024 on the opening of Bap Bowl’s first location on Beach Boulevard.
“Our restaurant represents our first venture, and it’s our hope to expand this concept into more locations across the United States,” Wu told What Now at the time. “We believe that delicious, healthy food is the best gift we can offer to our customers. Join us in experiencing the vibrant flavors and nutritional benefits of Korean cuisine, all served with speed and convenience in mind.”
It looks like that expansion is now beginning!
