Two longtime franchise operators, Mike Murray and Joe Herlihy, are preparing to embark on a project that will bring a brand-new coffee drive-thru concept to market. It’s called Boost Coffee & Energy, and according to coverage by the Jacksonville Daily Record, it already has several locations in the works in the area.

Boost will offer a menu featuring “energy drinks, protein lattes, refreshers, protein shakes, smoothies, coffee, teas, Boost sodas, kids’ drinks and snacks, including brownies, coffee cake, lemon loaf and pistachios,” the coverage says.

Boost will building on a model that has proved successful in recent years: drive-thru coffee shops with modular construction and a small footprint.

“Blending fresh-roasted coffee, clean energy drinks, and protein-powered fuel into one fast, friendly stop,” says a description on the brand’s website, BoostCoffee.com, which is already live. “At Boost Coffee, we believe your daily drive-thru should deliver more than just caffeine; it should fuel your body, lift your mood, and fit your lifestyle. That’s why we’ve built a menu around fresh roasted protein coffee, clean energy drinks, smoothies, and classics that are fast, flavorful, and functional.”

The first location will open in Jacksonville, at 7253 103rd St (the location is already viewable on Google Maps and marked “Temporarily closed”). The Daily Record coverage says additional locations are also in the works in the area.
