Bronx House Pizza, which has been baking delicious pies since 2019, is eyeing a second St. Augustine restaurant.

The local North Florida pizza chain has filed applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a restaurant to be located at 389 Paseo Reyes Drive in St. Augustine. No opening date has been set.

Bruno DiFabio and Michael Bennici opened the first Bronx House Pizza in Ormond Beach. The restaurant now has ten locations throughout Florida, employing more than 250 people.

The pizzeria has grown by proving its commitment to making excellent pizza. Everything starts with dough made from wheat frown in Manitoba, Canada and milled in the U.S. The dough is cold-rise fermented for 48 hours to give the finished product a light and crispy finish. Pizza sauce is made with tomatoes grown in Modesto, California, Sicilian oregano, fresh garlic, parsley, basil, grated Pecorino Romano cheese, and EVOO. Finally, the whole milk mozzarella is produced in Wisconsin.

Each pizza is baked at 550 degrees in a gas-fired brick oven handcrafted in the U.S. to ensure every pie is light, crispy, and airy. That attention to detail allows Bronx House Pizza to live up to its name by bringing New York pizza to hungry Floridians.
