Tous les Jours, the ever-more-popular French Asian Bakery, will already be familiar to many in Jacksonville: the brand’s first location opened in Jacksonville’s Lotte Market back in September. But if you’re not familiar with it yet, you will be soon! Plans have been approved for a second location, this time at 9810 Baymeadows Rd, Suite 6, in the Baymeadows Village retail center.

What Now spoke on Wednesday with franchisee Andy Yang about his journey with the brand, which is leading to the opening of the Baymeadows Village location this spring.

“I grew up with the brand at H-Mart,” Yang told What Now. “And I had a date there with my wife. Anyone who has ever been to an H-Mart knows the brand. It’s been a big part of people’s childhood. We make really amazing cakes—everything is made in-house, fresh, every morning.”

The Yangs stress the importance of the fact that, despite being a franchise brand, this is a locally-owned bakery and cafe. “We know that’s important to the people of Jacksonville. We love Jacksonville, and we think people here are really going to love it.”

The space comprises more than 4,000 square feet and will offer an even bigger selection than can be found in the Lotte Market location. The goal is to become the neighborhood’s favorite bakery.

“With a commitment to using only the finest ingredients, our products are known for their unique flavors and wholesome qualities,” says the Tous les Jours website. “Our skilled bakers create a wide array of delicious treats that are freshly baked and ready to be enjoyed by our customers seeking exceptional taste and quality.”
