Gainesville residents will be able to get freshly made pasta topped with authentic Italian sauces exactly the way they want it when DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go opens at 16 NW 18th Street some time at the end of November 2025.

DalMoros comes to Gainesville from Venice, Italy where the concept was born in 2012. Founder Gabriele Dal Moro, a chef who found his passion for food by watching his grandmother cook, decided to open a place where busy Italians could get the fresh pasta they so crave in a convenient takeaway format.

After its success, Dal Moro teamed up with David Caruso and his family to bring DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go to the United States. Currently , there are five locations in Florida (St. Petersburgh, Delray Beach, and Tampa), and two in Massachusetts (Boston and Cambridge).

All recipes at the U.S. DalMoros locations are as close to the original Venetian recipes as possible. All pasta is made in-house daily, and customers can see the craftsmanship through a glass panel. Customers order their fresh pasta of choice, a sauce, and can then top their pasta with cheese, red pepper flakes, fresh black pepper, stracciatella, or other items. Dal Moros also offers gluten-friendly alternatives.
