The Memphis-based D’bo’s Daiquiris, Wings & Seafood continues to expand throughout the country, with a new location coming soon to Jacksonville at 901 King St.

The company’s newest location will replace Jazzy’s Restaurant and Lounge under franchise owner Tanya Wright, who is from Memphis, and her daughter Tiyionna Irizarry. Wright tells What Now Jacksonville that she hopes to open the new D’Bo’s Daiquiri, Wings, and Seafood in mid-May 2024. The company is also working on new locations in Winterhaven and Atlanta, which are expected to open in Spring 2024. The company is also hoping to open another location in Chicago.

David and Leticia Boyd started the brand as a food trailer, which eventually expanded into a brick-and-mortar in Memphis. Wright worked at one of the Memphis locations when she was younger before eventually moving to Jacksonville. D’bo’s Daiquiris, Wings & Seafood currently has another location in Memphis and one in Detroit. When the company decided to start franchising throughout the country, Wright took the opportunity to open a location in Jacksonville.

“D’bo’s Wings is known as the Godfather of Hot Wings because we originated Memphis-styled Hot Wings 35+ years ago,” according to the company’s website. “We offer the Best Chicken Wings in Jacksonville, Florida, the Best Seafood (Boiled Crab Legs, Boiled Shrimp, and Boiled Lobster Tails), the Best Frozen Daiquiris, the Best Burgers, as well as the Best Veggie Wings! There’s amazing food on the menu for everyone!”
