National coffee chain Dutch Bros. Coffee is opening a new location of a drive-thru kiosk along Argyle Forest Boulevard in Southwest Jacksonville.

The company’s second area location will be 950 square feet on a 2.23-acre site that is west of Rampart Road and south of Argyle Forest Boulevard, according to Jacksonville Daily Record. Dutch Bros. Charlotte-based Pavilion Development Company is the developer of the new site, while Jacksonville’s Chimney Lakes Investment Company owns the property. Coffee’s first location in Northeast Florida is located in St. Augustine at U.S. 1 and McCoy Way.

Founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in Grants Pass, Oregon, Dutch Bros. has grown to over 671 locations across 14 states, with many more on the way. Last year the company announced it has plans to open 150 locations throughout the country in 2023. The Oregon-based company plans to expand to Alabama and Kentucky. The new Argyle Forest Boulevard site will likely open by the end of the year. This location will be corporate-owned and locally operated.

“In 2023, we’re targeting 150 new shops, which positions us to achieve our five-year goal of 800 systemwide shops by year-end,” Joth Ricci, Chief Executive Officer and President of Dutch Bros Inc., said at the beginning of the year. “Additionally, we’re within striking distance of $1 billion in revenue in 2023 and 1,000 systemwide shops by the first half of 2025, creating jobs and opportunities for our employees and the communities in which we serve.”
