Pizza fans will have a new place for pies when Emangeo’s Brick Oven Pizza opens in Jacksonville.

The restaurant filed a permit with the Florida Department of Business and Regulation for a sit-down restaurant at 10920 Baymeadows Road.
Emangeo’s will offer both New York and New Haven style pizza, along with a cauliflower crust pizza that is gluten-friendly. The pizzas can be customized with a range of toppings that include everything from sausage, onions, and mushrooms to pineapple, steak, and pickles. To make the crisp, thin crust for a New England style pizza, a brick oven is used that can fire up to 700 degrees. Pizzas are ready in three to five minutes.
The New Haven style pies are baked in the brick oven, while the NY style pizzas are baked in a Baker’s Pride oven
Emangeo’s also makes grinders — what New Englanders call a sub sandwich — that range from hot, satisfying chicken parm to a classic ham and cheese.
According to Business Debut, owners George and Tina Schneider started Emangeo’s as a food truck in 2021, opening a carryout spot in Green Cove Springs in 2023. The Jacksonville spot marks the first sit-down Emangeo’s for the family-run business. The restaurant, expected to open by the end of December 2025, will likely operate as fast casual by day, and full-service for dinner.
