EZ Eatz by Yaya, a Jacksonville food truck focused on Mediterranean food, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar at 3520 St. Johns Bluff Road, Unit 5.

The company’s first restaurant location will move into a vacant space in a strip mall that also has a SeaGlass Smoke & Vape shop and Brazils Waxing Center. Owner Yahia Zrikem tells What Now Jacksonville they hope to open EZ Eatz by Yaya in August 2023. When the new restaurant opens, customers can expect various Mediterranean cuisines, such as Moroccan chicken tagine, falafel bites, and grilled kebab plates. Although the restaurant won’t be open for a few more months, the food truck remains available for reservations.

Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch break or a tasty, laid-back dinner, EZ Eatz will have something for everyone. To start, the restaurant will offer a handful of starters, such as hummus, zaalous, shakshuka, lentil soup, britwat, and more. The restaurant will also provide plenty of handhelds, plates, and sides. For dessert, EZ Eatz offers a sweet briwat and baklava. This will be a perfect place for anyone wanting to give Mediterranean food a chance.

“Our menu features a range of traditional Moroccan dishes, such as couscous, tagine, tangia, and loubia soup, as well as a variety of wraps, salads, and more that are perfect for a satisfying meal that you can dine in and enjoy, or take on the go,” according to the company’s website. “We use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create dishes that are both healthy and delicious. Our cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family.”
