A new sushi restaurant called Fancy Q Sushi Bar and Grill is making its Florida debut at the Parkway Commons Shopping Center in St. Augustine, located at 630 E Twincourt Trail Ste. 113.

The restaurant will move into a newly built 22,000-square-foot structure with multiple tenant spaces. Owners tell What Now Jacksonville they recently received keys to the space, so it could be another seven to eight months before they’re open. Other businesses coming to the development include Parlor Doughnuts, Coldwell Banker, Queen Nails, PT Solutions, Styles by DJ Hair, Kumon, and Anejo Cocina Mexicana. These are all expected to open later this year. The site also has three spaces currently available.

All of this comes as a result of the growing World Golf Village area of St. Johns County. The Parkway Commons Shopping Center began construction in late 2021 at the intersection of International Golf Parkway and Commerce Lake Drive, just east of I-95. New businesses have been slowly making their way to this area, such as Buc-ee’s, which opened last year. Costco and GreenWise Market are also expected to open sometime this year. Costco is set to open around June 2023.

This will be the company’s second location of Q Sushi Bar and Grill, following a first location in St. Simons Island in Georgia at 211 Redfern Village. The restaurant is not to be confused with Fancy Q Sushi & Thai, a Lakeland-based restaurant that recently opened a second location. When the new site opens around the end of the year, customers can expect lunch specials, appetizers, salads & soups, a sushi bar, sushi rolls, chef’s special rolls, and Fancy Q special rolls.
