A new outpost of Texas Roadhouse is coming to 410 Outlet Mall Boulevard in St. Augustine next year, communications manager Amanda Norton confirms.

The outpost is currently in the early stages of the construction process, but anticipates opening in early 2025, she says. This will be the first outpost in St. Augustine, however the franchise chain has a handful of locations in the area including 4578 Tropeca Way and 13130 City Station Drive, as well as 550 Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park, 1298 Palm Coast Parkway SW in Palm Coast, 177 NW Knights Avenue in Lake City and 1984 SW 43rd Street in Gainesville. It will be operated by managing partner Luc Boyette who has been with the franchise for 27 years, starting out working in the kitchen making salads.

“I’ve always wanted to settle in St. Augustine, and I’m excited to join the community,” Boyette tells What Now Jacksonville. “We are excited to bring made-from-scratch food and friendly service to St. Augustine.”

He says he is focused on integrating the franchise into the community by fundraising for nonprofits, supporting schools and partnering with local sports teams. The chain also claims it will bring 200 jobs to the area.
