According to JBJ, a new Foxtail Coffee is coming to Murray Hill.

“After Jacksonville Beach’s Building Dynamics Inc. began construction on a 4,750-square-foot shell at 1195 Edgewood Ave. S. in Murray Hill this summer, Foxtail Coffee franchisees Ty Claggett and Doug Tutwiler have signed on to be the first tenants to open up shop in part of the space,” the report states, adding that the store will occupy 1,600 square feet.

Defining their mission statement on the company website, Alex Tchekmeian and co-founder Iain Yeakle state “Alex and Iain launched Foxtail on simple and basic principles – to roast great coffee that guests can enjoy in an inviting and comfortable environment. Believing coffee should be purposeful, celebrated, and enjoyed, they built a company that approaches producing coffee as a craft and serving coffee as a celebration.”

Readers unfamiliar with the rapidly expanding brand can expect a classic selection of espresso-based drinks, batch brew, tea, and the brand’s “world famous cold brew.”

No opening date has yet been set.
