An ice cream shop that debuted in Jacksonville Beach in 2023 appears to have a new location in the works, according to recent state business filings. Gator Ice Cream will open at 5043 San Jose Blvd.

Owner Joel Foreacre is behind the brand, which serves handcrafted American hard ice cream made in house. Options include alcohol-infused ice cream flavors and classic and specialty flavors. There are also sugar-free and dairy-free options.

Seasonal flavors include salted caramel pecan pie and pumpkin pie caramel.

Currently, an opening timeline for the forthcoming location remains unclear. Efforts to obtain comment from Foreacre prior to publication were unsuccessful.

The new location will be near businesses such as Domino’s Pizza and The Palate.
