According to recent reporting in JDR, a Habit Burger & Grill site is scoping out its newest spot.

The growing chain is considering a site near River City Marketplace on land next to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse at 15022 Max Leggett Parkway.

Reportedly, the project comprises a 30-seat restaurant with a drive-thru lane that can hold at least 10 vehicles.

Founded in Santa Barbara, California, in 1969, Habit Burger Grill is a fast-casual chain owned by Taco Bell/Pizza Hut parent company Yum Brands, which purchased Habit for $375 million in March 2020, according to news reports.

The concept serves up chargrilled-style burgers alongside a California cuisine-influenced menu.
