According to recent public records, a new halal eatery is soon coming to Jacksonville.

Akhs Halal Grill will soon be debuting at 5960 Richards Street.

“Our meats are never frozen. Halal animals are generally fed a vegetarian diet, meaning their feed must be free from any prohibited ingredients like pork or animal by-products,” a recent Facebook post states.

“They are also raised in a way that allows them to graze and move freely, and are not subjected to practices like intensive confinement or the use of growth hormones.”
