A new homemade-style sandwich shop Good Sandwich is coming to Jacksonville in early 2023.
The restaurant, located at 157 E 8th Street Suite 118, will be neighbors to Crux Collective, a screen-printing shop, as well as Haute Societe Studio hair salon.
The casual lunch spot will serve a variety of options including sandwiches, soups, chips and sides at an affordable price point under $10 according to the online menu.
The business owner Ashley Brooks confirmed she is hoping to open at the end of January 2023. “I’m waiting on a final inspection of the restaurant, but hopefully shortly after we’ll open,” Brooks said, although a grand-opening date is not confirmed.
Classic sandwiches such as peanut butter and jelly will be served along with more unique variations of sandwiches, such as “The 904” which is described as “toasted white bread, bologna, avocado, mayo, American cheese, romaine, and Sriracha” according to their menu.
