According to recent public records, a new independent establishment is coming to St. Augustine. Nadine’s Cafe will be found at 117 King St, near St. Augie’s Pizza.

“We’ll be serving breakfast and lunch,” owner Erica Burch tells What Now Jax, adding that the menu will be American-style, centering eggs and pancakes and other classic staples.

When asked why she chose this particular location on King St, Burch points to practicality and good timing.

“I also own Rise and Vape right next door,” she says. “The post became available and the rent is very good.”

Besides her experience as a small business owner, Burch will also be bringing knowledge from her family’s own experience in the food and beverage industry.

“My family has owned restaurants before, but this will be my husband and I’s first.”

If all goes well, Burch expects to open in January.
