Locally Run Bagel Joint Opening in Jacksonville

According to recent reporting,  a new bagel joint is coming to town.

The “Born in Jersey, baked in Jax” Bang’n Bagel has reportedly received an Aug. 27 permit to operate out of the shopping center at 13423 Beach Blvd.

According to social media Bang’n will offer handmade sourdough bagels and “big NY-NJ energy” from founder Mark DiBiase.

“Born in Jersey, baked in Jax,” a recent post by jaxwithjosh stated.

“Bang’n Bagel is heating things up on Beach Boulevard with handmade sourdough bagels and big NY-NJ energy. Founder Mark DiBiase is going all-in with bagel research, from Brooklyn to a seminar in Maine—and this first location near Hodges is just the beginning.”

“They’re planning to expand all over the East Coast with fun branding, art-studio vibes, and even a life-size “Mr. Bagel” mascot for selfies,” it concludes.

No opening date has been announced.
