A new food truck is preparing to get baking on the streets of Jacksonville. According to plan review paperwork submitted by Bread & Life Bakery LLC, Gege Bakery is preparing for a launch.

For the moment, most of the details about Gege Bakery have yet to be revealed. A bakery can, of course, bake a wide variety of goodies. Should we expect baguettes? Pastries? Cakes? All three? Other baked goods entirely?

After coming across the submitted paperwork, What Now reached out to Euro Clementino, one of the principals behind Bread & Life Bakery LLC. Clementino was not immediately available to discuss plans for Gege Bakery on Friday.

It’s not yet known whether Gege Bakery plans to operate in one permanent location or move from place to place. The paperwork situates the business at 10584 Old St. Augustine Road, Unit 12, in the Villages of Mandarin, a retail center that includes Jax Oriental Market, Peony Asian Bistro, and Sichuan Family Kitchen.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available!
