According to recent public records, a Nicaraguan eatery, Ms Fritanguita Nica, is soon coming to Jacksonville at 1850 Emerson St.

What Now Jacksonville recently contacted owner Alejandro Hernandez Zambrano who says that the establishment, a food truck, will soon begin serving up cuisine from the Central American nation.

“It’s my first time running a food and beverage establishment,” Mr. Zambrano tells What Now Jax.

“I always wanted to open a restaurant, but never knew how to accomplish that at this point, without a lot of money.”

But despite the obstacles at hand, Mr. Zambrano sees the truck as the springboard for an eventual brick and mortar restaurant.

No exact opening date has been set.
