According to recent public records, popular grocery and restaurant Pepe’s Hacienda will soon open a new location at 9239 Merril Road in Jacksonville.
“This will be our 2nd location,” co-owner Greg Trejo tells What Now Jax.
“We are a supermarket specializing in Latin American groceries and a Mexican restaurant.”
When asked whether the new location will significantly change its approach and offerings, Mr. Trejo says there will be minor – but important – differences.
“It’ll be the same concept, though maybe with a few new dishes,” he says. “We are applying for a liquor license so we can serve drinks.”
Mr. Trejo tells What Now Jax that the locale is reaching the last stages of construction. So when will it open?
“It’s looking like February,” he concludes.
