According to recent reporting in JDR, the city is currently reviewing a building permit application for the Chipshot indoor pickleball venue planned at 13164 Atlantic Blvd.

Contracted to carry out the project is Urban Partners Construction LLC. For around $1 million, the plan calls for the tenant build-out for the eight pickleball courts, four golf simulators, a restaurant and more. Local readers may recognize the 29,276-square-foot space as the previous home of Bailey’s Health & Fitness Center.

Apart from pickleball, golf simulators are also planned for Chipshot, developed by PGA Tour pro Thomas Walsh.

Food and beverage will be provided by Strings Sports Brewery which will be offering craft beers, cocktails and sports-bar food.

“Enjoy our state-of-the-art indoor pickleball courts, perfect for players of all skill levels, and take your game to the next level with our high-tech Trackman golf simulators,” the official website states.

“After a game, relax and unwind at String’s Sports Bar, offering a wide selection of craft beers, cocktails, and delicious bites. Whether you’re here to compete, socialize, or simply have fun, Chipshot has everything you need for a memorable experience.”
