Formerly the home of Bizarre Bazaar, the building at 201 Anastasia Boulevard on Anastasia Island is set to become Ponce de le Rollin’, “Anastasia Island’s Nostalgic, Family Friendly Skate Rink.” The new roller rink was originally expected to open this fall, but will now be opening in the new year.
“ROLLER RINK UPDATE! A family friendly roller rink called Ponce de le Rollin is currently slated to open in February 2026,” said a Facebook post by Totally St. Augustine published on October 7. It’s not currently known whether that timeline still holds.
Meanwhile, this week, What Now came across restaurant plan review paperwork submitted by Ponce de le Rollin LLC for Ponce de Le Rollin’ at the Anastasia Boulevard address. As one might expect, this means the skating rink will be doing food service—as any skating rink should!
“We want to do birthday parties, summer camps, theme nights, adult nights,” owner Melissa Gangemi told Jax Today back in March. “Inside, we’re still working on that. We want it to be kind of retro.”
What Now contacted Gangemi on Wednesday regarding the opening. We’re awaiting more information (particularly on the food question!) once it becomes available, so stay tuned.
