According to recent public records, a national sandwich brand will soon be expanding across the area. Potbelly will be opening a new Jacksonville location at 9908 Baymeadows Road.
This newest location—part of the franchise’s significant area expansion—will be spearheaded by Gold and Green Managament, LLC, led by Patrick and Leah Prendergast.
Founded in Chicago in 1977 by Peter Hastings, Potbelly would explode into a nationally-known sandwich chain throughout the following decades, ultimately becoming a publicly traded company in 2013. Apart from its signature hot subs, Potbelly also serves salads, mac and cheese, soups, cookies, shakes, coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
No opening date has been announced.
