Salata, “your kitchen away from home,” is a growing Texas-based fast-casual franchise that now includes 86 locations across five states. And as the chain grows, so does its reach: it’s now expanding its build-your-own salad model into the Jacksonville market.
Salata will debut soon at Nocatee Town Center, headed up by Jason and Sandy O’Hara, says recent coverage by the St. Johns Citizen.
Guests at Salata begin by choosing between a salad (in regular or small sizes) or a wrap, customizing their creation with choices from more than 50 different ingredients, and topping it with a choice from more than a dozen dressings. These include classics like Buttermilk Ranch, Classic Caesar, and Honey Mustard, as well as more adventurous dressings like Jalepeño Avocado, Ginger Lime, and White Miso.
“Since our humble beginnings in 2005, our guests have always been the most important ingredient at Salata,” says the Salata website. “Your love and support has helped us grow from a single salad bar in downtown Houston to locations nationwide—all with one simple idea in mind: Your salad is what you make it.”
What Now reached out to Jason O’Hara this week for comment. O’Hara was not immediately available to discuss the Nocatee Town Center Salata launch.
