After closing its doors with no answers for its customers, Shane’s Sandwich Shop appears to be reopening in Jacksonville at 11035 Philips Highway Unit C1.

While there is a Shane’s Sandwich Shop at 5551 St. Augustine Road, the other location has been closed for some time now. It’s unclear if the two sites are related. Still, the closed location looks to be reviving with the help of Nawzat Inc., which recently submitted a plan review application to the Florida Department of Professional & Business Regulation for new construction. There is no exact timeline for the reopening, but it could be a few months, considering the nature of this permit.

The Shane’s Sandwich Shop on Saint Augustine Road is described as a “Mom & Pop” restaurant serving Jacksonville delicious food. The company’s Yelp shows various breakfast options and sandwiches available from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Friday. It’s unclear if the new owners plan to keep the same menu or hours. Vice President Rula Hadad has yet to respond to any questions from What Now Jacksonville.

When the sandwich shop reopens, it will sit near a variety of other businesses, including a handful of car dealerships. This eatery will be perfect for employees on their lunch break looking for a quick, healthy option. Restaurant owners should also see plenty of foot traffic from sitting right off Interstate-295 freeway and Phillips Highway.

  • The new owners of the property where they were at tried to run them out so they could move in a plumbing company. They ended up buying out their lease agreement
