Something Better, run by locals Matthew & Lindsey Moberg and Amber & Jorge Pascual, will be coming to 236 W Adams Street.

What Now Jax reached out to Mr. Moberg to inquire about this mysterious new establishment’s offerings, concept, and opening timeline, but he was not immediately available for comment.

While very little public information appears to exist on the concept, readers may recognize the Mobergs as owners of the downtown establishment The Mini Market, not too far from the upcoming Something Better.

“Matt Moberg said the concept for the Mini Market was to create a convenience store with a warmer, less commercial atmosphere. For Downtown workers, it’s an alternative to the office vending machine or the small number of convenience stores in the core,” a recent JDR report states.

Indeed, the upcoming Adams Street establishment’s name suggests a similarly positive project for Jacksonville’s dynamic downtown district.
