The popular sports bar and brewery in Springfield is opening a second location soon at 1618 Penman Road in Jacksonville Beach, replacing the former Terry’s Country Store. The family business is lead by patriarch Scott “String” Adeeb, a Jacksonville native, alongside his two sons Colby and Trevor.

The Adeebs recently signed paperwork for the location on Jan. 13, 2023, which means a grand opening date is very far out, but will likely be at the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024.

Strings Sports Brewery is known for its family-friendly environment and wide range of beers brewed in-house. Their food offerings include traditional sports bar fare like smoked wings, brisket nachos, burgers, sandwiches, salads and rotating specials such as fish and chips.

“Remodel and renovations are to start soon. Thank you to all of our family, friends, and customers for helping make this happen. Your loyalty and commitment to seeing Strings succeed gives us hope we can reach more people in the Jacksonville area to create a safe and fun environment for everyone to enjoy ‘Family. Beer. Sports,'” the family announced on the Strings Instagram page after signing the paperwork on Jan. 13.
