According to recent reporting in The Business Journal, a popular new Dubai chocolatier is coming to town.

The Chocolate Bar, an edible chocolate art shop founded in Lebanon, will open its very first U.S. location in Jacksonville sometime this summer. The establishment will be run by founder and franchisor Wael Arnous.

Founded in Beirut, Lebanon in 2014, parent company Chocolate Inc. specializes “in shaping Belgian chocolate into waffles, crepes, cheesecakes and milkshakes to elicit edible works of art. Headquartered today in Dubai, Chocolate Inc.’s master chefs work with Belgian chocolate because it’s considered one the world’s best,” the Journal reports, citing Arnous.

As of 2025, Chocolate Inc. has 45 Chocolate Bar locations in 10 African and Middle Eastern countries. At least five more branches are currently being developed.

Arnous told the Business Journal that after he establishes his Floridian network of stores, there will be an eventual U.S. expansion.

No dates or addresses have been announced.
