This week, the Jacksonville Business Journal reported on the transformation of the space at 17 King Street to a new, “wine-focused” brand. The former Harvest St. Augustine is becoming 17 King, a new spot the Business Journal coverage says will “offer some retail sales of wine along with full food service.”

“We heard you St. Augustine,” says an Instagram post by 17 King published April 1. “May 1st, we make it official.”

May 1 is the date of the 17 King Grand opening, and there’s some suspense building!

A Facebook post by 17 King published this week said, “You’ve probably walked past us. Most people do. But something is changing. May 1 is the full reveal and if you know… you know. Reserve your table before everyone else does.”

Images included in the post promise “dinner, drinks, live music every night.”

What Now reached out on Thursday to owner Gary McGeddy to ask about the transition and the Grand Opening. McGeddy was not immediately available for comment.
