A local entrepreneur is preparing to open a new tea room/ cafe called The Pink Peony in Green Cove Springs, located at 424 Walnut St.

This is the latest from owner Kristina Knowles, who also owns One Swanky Chic Boutique next door, and her husband, Todd Knowles, according to a recent plan review application. Kristina tells What Now Jacksonville that The Pink Peony will offer a variety of specialty teas and snacks, specifically boba drinks, Japanese-style rolled ice cream, a donut of the day, and other pastries and snacks. The new cafe has no exact timeline, but it will likely open in the next few weeks.

Considering Knowles and her husband own both concepts that are neighboring each other, they plan to add a door between the two concepts so that customers can easily shop and sip. Additional information regarding the new tea room has yet to be revealed, although it’s expected the owners will have a changing menu so that customers can have a unique experience each time they visit. Knowles tells What Now Jacksonville that they have received tons of interest from the community and are super excited about the experience they hope to bring to the Green Cove area.

Last year, the owners participated in a Halloween event called Witches Night Out, where several businesses came together to bring the neighborhood together, offer unique discounts, and promote their services and offerings. One Swanky Chic Boutique had some special deals, but more exciting was that this was the first time Pink Peony Cafe came to life. The owners offered a sneak peek of the new cafe and even gave a few drink samples to those in attendance. Now, these delicious treats will be available as soon as next month.
