V Pizza, the fast-growing authentic Italian brick oven pizza restaurant, is preparing to open new locations while moving others in Jacksonville.

Northeast Florida is about to see some changes to its beloved micro chain, V Pizza. Since opening in 2014, the company has opened 10 locations throughout the area, many with attached bar concepts. CEO David Villmow tells What Now Jacksonville that the company is working on two new locations and two relocations, all expected to occur later this year. The first of these plans is a new location with a Flask & Cannon, coming to Saint Augustine at 5700 US HWY 1. Villmow says he hopes to open this location in mid-May 2023.

Once this opens, V Pizza is planning to relocate two of its existing locations. First, the company’s Fleming Island site at 1605 Country Road will be moving into a brand new site at 4477 US HWY 17. Villmow says the site is under construction and expected to open sometime this summer. After this, V Pizza will relocate its San Marco site from 1406 Hendricks Avenue to 1509 Hendricks Avenue by the end of the year. A new location in Orlando, at Lake Beuna Vista at 8586 Palm Parkway, is also expected to open later this year.

Many V Pizza locations have unique bar concepts with happy hours almost every day and open late. Whether it’s a Sidecar, Flask & Cannon, Tap Garden, or Julep, these bars all have the perfect drink to pair with a slice of pizza. Each concept takes on its own personality, such as the Tap Garden’s laid-back sports bar vibe and patio. No matter which bars it is, customers can expect unique house cocktails, microbrews, and a long whiskey list. These bars also offer weekly events, such as weekly night trivia, available at Tap Garden, Sidecar, and Flask & Cannon.
