V Pizza is part of the lineup slated to join Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). It will open in Concourse B alongside plenty of other food and beverage concepts. The Jacksonville Aviation Authority board members approved V Pizza and multiple other retail and restaurant concepts last week, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal.
The new location is part of a larger revamp at the airport, which includes a new food hall in Concourse B. HMS Host, a leading operator in travel dining with a presence at airports across the country, will operate concepts at the food hall.
Paul Scott, Kris Williams and Mark Turner launched V Pizza in 2014 in Jacksonville, bringing authentic Italian pizzas to the area. Pizzas are cooked with Italian ingredients in Italian-made ovens.
“It’s not just pizza. It’s a passion,” the V Pizza website states. “Bringing the flavor of old-world Italy to our hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, was always our dream.”
Since then, the brand has expanded to 10 Florida locations and two locations in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. An additional location is on the way to Durban Crossing.
Menu items include pizzas as well as some pastas, sandwiches and salads.
Firm RS&H, which is involved in the revamp at JIA, shares on its website that the Concourse B project will add six gates to JIA. The construction will also include a new six-story parking garage that will offer 2,400 parking spaces.
Cantina Louie is also heading to the Concourse B food hall. The revamp is expected to conclude in late 2026.
