According to recent reporting in JBJ, a classic shrimp joint will soon see its resurrection.

Jacksonville Beach Shrimp Shack is in a comeback run eight months after its temporary closure. Construction is underway as the brand has declared on social media they will be back in action this year.

“A lot of people have been asking about our Jax Beach location so here’s a quick update. We’re still on track to reopen our freshly renovated Shack in 2025 and can assure you you’re “shrimply” going to love it!” the post states.

“We’ll keep you posted on our progress here but we hope to “sea” you soon at our Orange Park location.”

The JBJ reports that the city has issued a permit for a $725,000 renovation from Vantage Contracting Inc.

No exact opening date has been announced.
