Announced in a press release last November, plans for a major proposed golf entertainment destination adjacent to the STRAT Hotel & Casino go before the Las Vegas Planning Commission next week. Atomic Range, a 92,000-sq.-ft. “immersive, technology-enhanced experience through game play and entertainment” from Golden Entertainment in partnership with Flite Golf, promises to bring not only good times but approximately 400 jobs to the area.
Occupying nearly seven acres and a total of four stories, Atomic Range will host 103 hitting bays, four (!) bars, a meeting space, and a 12,000-sq.-ft. Astrocade. It also promises a number of technological innovations from Flite Golf.
“Flite Golf’s development experience, innovative technology and substantial equity commitment to Atomic Range makes them the perfect partner to develop this attraction. We are excited to provide this new golf experience to our guests at the STRAT, as well as Downtown visitors, convention attendees, guests at North Strip properties and Las Vegas locals.,” Charles Protell, President and Chief Financial Officer of Golden Entertainment said in the press release.
The November press release estimated a completion date for construction late in 2023, with the expectation that ground would be broken in Q2 of this year. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Golden Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Steve Arcana on Friday for more information. Arcana was not available for comment.
