California-born pizza chain Pizza Guys launched its first location in Las Vegas back in 2020, and now the brand is looking to double down. A new team of franchisees—Gabriel and Kellie Jordan along with Jim and Tina Lovinggood—has taken over the northwest Las Vegas Pizza Guys location at 3950 Tenaya Way. They’re now working to open a second location at 8180 W Warm Springs Road this February.

Pizza Guys is a passion project, Gabriel Jordan told What Now on Friday. “I had a nice job as a regional sales manager at Alphabroder,” Jordan said. “My partner was a VP at a guitar company. We all left Southern California a few years ago and we just simultaneously said, You know what, let’s try to do something of our own.”

That decision led the soon-to-be franchisees to Pizza Guys. They found a brand whose wide range of pizza flavor profiles offers something for everybody. There are familiar flavors centering pepperoni, or meats, or veggies, along with specialty varieties like Beef Taco, Crunchy Club, Chicken Curry Delight, and Hawaiian BBQ. Jordan says the pizza is a major standout.

“I don’t worry about if you’re going to like the pizza. The pizza stands on its own. The dough is made daily, everything is fresh, and you can taste it.”

After opening on West Warm Springs Road, the plan is to continue expanding in Vegas. Recent coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal even says there’s a goal of reaching four or five Pizza Guys in the valley by the end of 2024.

“We want to be a habit for people. We want to be in the rotation,” Jordan said. “People are going to say, ‘It’s pizza day. We’re going to Pizza Guys.’”
