The building on the northeast corner of Audrie Street and Harmon Avenue by the Las Vegas Strip appears to the site of a major tiki restaurant and bar project. Work permitting paperwork was submitted to Clark County for a restaurant called Grand Tiki, opening at 110 E Harmon Ave.

Paperwork was also submitted to the Clark County Business License Department last summer by Grand Tiki LLC, requesting approval for a Preliminary Determination of Location Suitability for a Tavern Liquor License and Class A Gaming License at the same address.

Now, that project, which involves both a bar and gaming appears to be going forward—and it’s big. The permit paperwork lists a Contract Valuation of $1.9 million (!).

Behind Grand Tiki LLC is Howard Starr, a Las Vegas entrepreneur who has been behind several bars on the Strip, as well as projects in the Cannabis industry.

What now reached out to Starr on Wednesday to inquire about plans for Grand Tiki. Starr was not immediately available for comment.

Stay tuned for more details about Grand Tiki as they become available.
